Community of Hope is a lay pastoral ministry whose members provide services to those in need, whether they are elderly, home bound or ill, in poverty or in prison.  One caregiver was attracted to Community of Hope because it offers the kind of ministry Jesus would have us do.  The Community of Hope class consists of 15 sessions, held once a week, that give trainees the skills and nurture the compassion that is necessary for an effective and satisfying ministry.  Contact Steve Neale at 830-990-1497 or to sign up or for more information.

St. Barnabas' caregivers do everything from delivering meals to sharing God’s love with prisoners.  Every other month these caregivers gather for the Circle of Care in a member’s home for a delicious potluck, fellowship, prayer, and mutual support.
