Are you interested in serving in a ministry during worship or in preparation for worship?  Perhaps you would like to deepen your faith with study.  Maybe the solitude of working in the garden appeals to you.  There is a ministry for you at Saint Barnabas.  Please look at some of the options currently available below:

The Altar Guild is a special group in the church charged with the maintenance and preparation of the altar and its furnishings in a church.

A Lay Reader is the person who reads the Scripture lessons during worsip.  A Chalice Bearer distributes the wine (Body of Christ) during Communion.

Community of Hope is a group of lay chaplains who are available to accompany you through a challenge or change by visiting you at home or in the hospital, bringing communion, praying with and for you, bringing you a meal, just providing a comforting presence.

Education for Ministry (EfM) invites participants into small, mentored groups that provide the framework for understanding life and shaping actions as your Christian faith is deepened.
The Daughters of the King is a group of women who pledge themselves to a life-long program of prayer, service and evangelism.
If you can operate your television remote, you can probably transmit our weekly service over YouTube.  It is very easy and somewhat fun!  We will train you and you can serve as often as you like.
